TRAFFIC, ACCESS
& PARKING

The site has approximately 350 metres of frontage to Crescent Street, which will remain the primary vehicle access.

The Crescent Parklands team understands that the traffic network around the site plays a critical role in moving people around Greater Sydney.

We acknowledge that the area is congested and the NSW Government has committed $30 million to the Parramatta Congestion Improvement Program.

The Crescent Parklands team is working closely with RMS during the planning of the precinct to manage traffic in and around the precinct. RMS is delivering the intersection improvements on Woodville Road, Parramatta Road, Church Street and M4 Western Motorway off-ramp, Granville.

The improvements will serve future traffic and transport needs by reducing queue lengths, and easing congestion at the Woodville Road, Parramatta Road and Church Street intersection. More information is available at the Parramatta Congestion Improvement Program.

In addition to the government’s funding commitment, the Crescent Parklands team is proposing improvements to ease traffic congestion at the intersections at Parramatta Road and Woodville Road as well as Crescent Street and Woodville Road. The Crescent Parklands team are focused on easing traffic flow at busy intersections and improving the experience for residents and visitors travelling in and around the precinct.
